About the Author:

 

Freidele Galya Soban Biniashvili has always enjoyed writing stories and poems. She is the author of several books including The Mystery of the Lost Watch, I Love Matzah, There’s A Reason Why!, and Goldie and the Guests. A second-generation Canadian, she lives in Toronto with her husband, the illustrator of Shloimie’s Letter, and their team of future writers and artists.

About the Artist:

 

Michael Biniashvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. At an early age, he showed a talent for drawing and enrolled in art studies. Eventually, he immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he met his future wife, the author of Shloimie’s Letter. Mainly a self-taught artist, his clients have included Hachai Publishing, Judaica Press, Israel Bookshop Publications and Benei Yakov Publications.
